If you have received an MSOE parking citation on your vehicle you must respond to this citation in one of the following two ways:
Payments
Payment may be made:
- By mail using the mailing envelope attached to the citation (postmark date on envelope will be the official payment date)
- In person Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the MSOE Student Accounts Office, 1025 N. Broadway, Room CC437, Milwaukee, WI 53202
- Make checks payable to: Milwaukee School of Engineering. A $25.00 fee will be charged on all checks returned for non-sufficient funds or closed accounts
- Note: In order to properly credit your payment, the citation must accompany your payment.
Citations for Violations V1 through V7 are reduced to $20.00 if paid within 5 days of the issuance of the citation
To Contest a Citation
A parking citation can be appealed in writing to the Director of Public Safety within five days of the violation by submitting an official appeal form, which is also available at the Public Safety Department office. If the appeal is not submitted within five days of the issuance date it shall result in a forfeiture of the right to appeal.
Non-Payment of Fine
If the fine remains unpaid for more than 30 calendar days from the date the citation was issued the following actions will occur:
- The fee will increase to $60.00
- A delinquency notice will be mailed to the registered owner of this vehicle
- Vehicles with unpaid citations may be ticketed by the City of Milwaukee and towed without warning for any subsequent violations
- As with any unpaid student bill, an administrative "hold" will be placed on the academic records of student violators which could prevent subsequent enrollment and/or the release of transcripts or grades
- Unpaid citations involving MSOE faculty or staff will result in the unpaid balances being withheld from their payroll check

If you were a visitor to the university when this citation was issued, you may not have to pay the fine. Contact the Public Safety office (414) 277-7161 no later than 5 calendar days from the issuance date for further information.
