The Milwaukee School of Engineering invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Electrical Engineering beginning in the fall of 2009 or earlier if agreeable by all. Rank will depend on qualifications and experience of the candidate. All electrical engineering areas will be considered, but we are most specifically interested in candidates in the areas of:
Embedded Systems
Digital Systems
Digital Circuits
The MSOE Electrical Engineering program is an ABET accredited undergraduate program with over 200 undergraduate students. The successful candidate must have a strong primary commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level. Leadership in the growth of undergraduate engineering education is expected. MSOE enjoys close working relationships with regional Midwestern companies and faculty interaction with these companies is especially encouraged. Candidates must have a doctorate degree in electrical engineering by the beginning date of appointment. A BS in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution is preferred. Candidates must be qualified to instruct integrated lecture/lab courses in topic areas such as electrical circuits, digital circuits, digital systems, and embedded systems.
