This position is for a part-time faculty member in the Civil and Architectural Engineering and Construction Management (CAECM) department. The successful applicant will have an extensive design background in building electrical power systems design and building lighting and communications systems design. A PE license is required. A minimum of a B.S. degree in Architectural Engineering (AE) from an ABET accredited program is required. This faculty member will direct and mentor students within the CAECM AE design-build senior design course sequence. As such, extensive knowledge of the National Electric Code and of other relevant building codes is required, as well as a minimum of 5 to 7 years engineering design experience.
