Position Title: Head Wrestling Coach/Assistant Director of Recreational Services

This is a full-time, 12-month position and will function in two capacities:
Head Wrestling Coach: The person selected will be involved in all aspects of coaching an NCAA Division III sport which will include coaching, scheduling, recruiting, training, budget management, student-athlete development and related duties. Previous college coaching experience and/or wrestling experience at a major college program is highly preferred.
Assistant Director of Recreational Services: The person selected will be responsible for hiring, training, supervising, scheduling and evaluating the student staff in all areas of the Kern Center; assisting with both campus special events and outside rentals to include coordination and event coverage; and administering and providing leadership in the development of fitness programming for all users of the Kern Center.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree. Valid driver’s license also required. Knowledge in recreation, sports management, sport sciences and/or kinesiology preferred.
