MSOE invites applications for an underwriting director to join our WMSE Radio Station. We are seeking a highly organized, results-orientated, self-motivated, creative, energetic and an experienced professional to lead the station’s underwriting sales program. The selected candidate will plan, manage, and implement underwriting of this licensed public radio station. This person will be responsible for securing long-term and short-term program sponsorship contracts from local, regional, and national businesses; management, cultivation and customer service of existing client base; and extensive prospecting and follow-up for new program underwriting clients; develop and follow reporting metrics for activities; and make routine public appearances on behalf of WMSE, which will include weekend and evening commitments. Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of four years experience in sales support in a media or like organization.
