Studies in Sustainability from Man at Work


Welcome to the Grohmann Museum's Man at Work blog which features a series of technical essays on trends in sustainability which are occurring across a wide spectrum of businesses and industries. As a springboard for discussion, and in order to provide historical context, each article will feature one or more paintings from the Man at Work Collection.

This series is being written by Deborah L. Jackman, PhD, PE, LEED AP. Dr. Jackman is a long-time professor and department chair at MSOE, and was formerly the program director for the Masters of Science in Environmental Engineering program. She is also a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited professional, and has had a long standing interest in environmental, energy, and sustainability issues.
