Design-Build Senior Projects
During your senior year, you'll work with students across majors - just like in a business setting - to take a real client's concept to the design phase.
As a construction manager on a team, you'll prepare and revise the pro forma, contract documents, budgets, schedules and assorted administrative plans. With the designers of the team, you'll deliver periodic informational and decision-making written proposals and oral presentations to the prospective owners.In addition to full-time professors, your team will work with a construction management practitioner who is your mentor and brings a heightened sense of reality to the experience. Through this, you integrate virtually all skills and knowledge of earlier years of study, gaining a comprehensive understanding of your role in the modern building construction industry.
