The MSOE Advantage

The SE program at MSOE offers an engaging environment, where learning happens inside and outside the classroom as you forge friendships with professors and classmates. The emphasis is placed on a well-rounded education. It is not enough to just grow intellectually, growth as an individual also occurs!

While in the classroom, you'll be amazed by the quality of the labs and the equipment and software you use. It will likely be the same technology you use as you start your career after graduation. Opportunities After Graduation 

Most of our students work in the industry full time after graduation. Some also start their own companies. They find that their education in software engineering prepares them to work in areas related to computer hardware and software, banking and financial services, healthcare, gaming, communications, space exploration, aeronautics, education, genetic research, film, online services, and more.

However, if they decide that they are interested in going to graduate school they have many options that are available to them. They can attend:
