MSOE's M.S. in cardiovascular studies (MSCS) is designed for individuals who currently hold baccalaureate degrees and are interested in the topics covered in the current Master of Science in Perfusion (MSP) program, but not their direct application to the job of a perfusionist. The latter group might include baccalaureate educated perfusionists, engineers working in health science areas or those who are interested in obtaining a greater understanding of cardiovascular systems, models, equipment, and research interpretation. Electives in the program will allow students the opportunity to also pursue courses in medical informatics, engineering management, engineering or other areas of their choice.
