Master of Science in Cardiovascular Studies

1. Applicants must have earned a bachelor of science degree in an appropriate discipline (biomedical engineering, biology, biomedical sciences, etc.) with an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale).
2. At least one undergraduate course in physiology (or anatomy and physiology) is required. Recommended course work includes biochemistry, math, physics, and statistics.
3. GRE general test scores having percentiles that average 50 percent or better.
4. Two letters of recommendation. They are generally most useful if written by faculty members who can judge the applicant’s academic ability.
