Master of Science in Perfusion
Academic Requirements
- Applicants must have earned a bachelor of science degree in an appropriate discipline with an undergraduate GPA of at least 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Required undergraduate course work must include at least one course in human physiology (or anatomy and physiology) and one course in calculus. Recomended course work includes biochemistry, physics, and statistics.
- GRE general test scores having percentiles that average 50 percent or better.
- Three letters of recommendation, two of which must be from faculty members who can judge the applicant's academic abilities.
Clinical Requirements
- Applicant must have observed at least two clinical cases under the direction of a Certified Clinical Perfusionist prior to formal acceptance into the program.
- Successful completion of a personal interview with the clinical program director.
