As part
of your degree, you will
participate in an internship that will enhance your course work while
providing relevant experience for the job market.
The internship is the technical communication program's capstone experience. You'll select a position that corresponds with your own interests and career plans. Internships have occurred in a variety of work settings. For example, you could intern at a small public relations firm, a Fortune 500 company, a museum of science and technology or a world-renowned motorcycle manufacturer.
Some of the companies offering technical communication internships to MSOE students include:
- Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation
- Enerpac
- GE Medical Systems
- Harley-Davidson
- Johnson Controls
- MagneTek
- Northwestern Mutual
For
additional information regarding internship requirements, contact Professor Jim Friauf, program director of technical communication.
