M.S. in Engineering Curriculum

The Master of Science in Engineering program is designed for individuals with bachelor's degrees in engineering, engineering technology or other closely related areas. Each student will work with the program director or faculty advisor to develop a program tailored to his or her needs. This program includes courses tailored to the student's background to ensure a foundation in the core curriculum.

Most classes meet one evening per week; a few meet twice weekly; some include laboratory work. Individual degree requirements are dependent upon the incoming student's type of bachelor's degree. The program normally requires a total of 45 graduate quarter credits for those holding an undergraduate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or mechanical or electrical engineering technology or a substantially similar degree from an accredited program.

For those with degrees in other engineering or engineering technology disciplines, 54 graduate quarter credits are normally required.
