The stock room is essentially a corridor that runs between all four BioE labs. It also features an office space for the laboratory technician, and gives the technician easy and quick access to the labs. The stockroom also features a double-door, steel-chamber autoclave that is housed between BSL-II culture room and the stock room and accessible from both rooms. The autoclave can be used to sterilize both liquids and glassware and remove bacterial waste. It is essential to maintaining sterility in the labs.
