First week of work

So work has been going great over here. We made it through our first week. Kinda funny that we started work on Monday and had to work through to Sunday. We will have a holiday Monday - Wednesday so because we are not working on Monday or Tuesday, we worked the weekend. It was a great opportunity to really get to know the other employees. Jeremiah and I will go to the Dragon boat festival tomorrow and Wednesday. Tomorrow Ann An (the human resources manager) will take us both to the start of the festival and we will hopefully learn how to make the traditional food, rice and meat wrapped in bamboo leaves. Over this past week all the employees at Williams Suzhou have taken us to lunch so we can experience the Chinese food. We have tried some interesting food and found others that we really enjoy. Our chopstix skills are starting to really improve!!! Some foods are still difficult to eat with them because they are too slippery. I know that I am really enjoying Suzhou so far and the workers at Williams Controls Suzhou have made a great effort to make sure that both Jeremiah and I are comfortable and happy. I greatly appreciate everything they have done to make our adjustment as easy as possible.
