Rader School of Business

The Field
For decades, the old saying has been "business as usual." But in today’s world, "usual" doesn’t cut it. Leaders in business and industry need an education that is useful, not usual. They need a deep and thorough understanding of the technology that is at the heart of global markets. They need to be critical thinkers, ethical practitioners, creative problem solvers and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

The Programs
MSOE’s Rader School of Business has been offering business and management degrees for more than 50 years. Our programs in each offer relevant and engaging curriculum at both the graduate and undergraduate level.

We offer undergraduate degrees in: ... as well as graduate programs in:
Our courses and extracurricular activities emphasize  entrepreneurship, teaching you to look at every problem and opportunity in innovative ways. We also have a global focus and even have a partnership with the U.S. Export Assistance Center.

At the same time, while the computer is at the root of the business programs, our courses go beyond just how the computer is used and explore the impact of the computer and technology on business practices and processes. Students also engage in an abundance of hands-on work and complete innovative projects.

The MSOE Advantage
Students in the Rader School of Business enjoy a number of distinguishing features that they wouldn’t get at other universities. Our faculty come from across the country, have earned advanced degrees at the nation’s top institutions, and bring an abundance of real-world experience as business and management leaders. Students enjoy state-of-the-art facilities and resources in which to integrate their knowledge of business and technology. Our network of student support services provides the individualized guidance and help that enables students to make the most of their experience here.

The Results
MSOE’s Rader School of Business has an impressive 50-year record of producing graduates that achieve great things. Our graduates have an edge in the eye of employers because they not only have the same background as their counterparts with business administration degrees, but have an entrepreneurial know-how and a thorough understanding of the technology that drives businesses. In fact, graduates of our business programs earn an average annual starting salary of $45,000 after joining major corporations and small businesses alike where they are promoted quickly. Many others start their own businesses.
