Scheduling and Registration

When you earn a degree from the Rader School of Business, you have more than a typical management degree; you have an MSOE degree! Our commitment to providing you the highest quality education is central to our focus. You will experience the best and reap the benefits of MSOE’s reputation throughout your career.

Once you are admitted to the program, several class scheduling options are available to you. Your faculty advisor can assist you in selecting and registering for courses that will meet the program requirements and align with your time to completion goal. Scheduling options include:
  • Evening classes meet at MSOE’s main campus in downtown Milwaukee. Classes meet one night per week, during the 11‐week academic quarter. Free parking is available. All courses are offered at this location.
  • Blended Internet format is available for the graduate management foundation courses. When taking an blended Internet course, students meet with a professor at various times during the term in traditional face-to-face class format, typically during two-week intervals. Between these face-to-face meetings, students and professor engage in distance learning using the Internet and other technology. On‐line discussions, real‐time Web conferences, teleconferences, case studies, and digital lectures featuring audio and video are used.

The hallmark of MSOE’s blended Internet delivery is our ability to translate high‐quality learning environments to alternative formats. Face‐to‐face meetings replicate traditional classes, while technology‐blended learning increases the flexibility students have to engage in mastering course concepts. This learning format reduces time and place constraints placed on students by requiring less travel to and from class locations, and by increasing flexibility for students to choose when they study.

There are no additional costs or fees associated with blended Internet courses. All courses offered in this format are also available in traditional, face‐to‐face meetings during alternate academic terms. Only select courses are available in blended Internet formats.
  • Outreach locations in Waukesha and Neenah, Wisconsin are available for select courses in the MS‐CBM program, generally foundation courses. Classes meet one evening per week, during the 11‐week academic quarter.
