When you have completed your thesis, have had the documentation reviewed by Gary Shimek, and your advisor has determined it is ready to be presented, deliver three copies of your completed thesis to the School of Business. Then, request a time for your oral presentation.
Oral Committee
You and your advisor should consult on who should sit on your review committee. In addition to your advisor, the committee will consist of two faculty members with knowledge of the subject area. After you have delivered the final copies of your thesis, arrangements will be made for the oral presentation. Allow two to four weeks from the time you deliver your thesis to the actual oral presentation.
Oral Presentation
You should be prepared to deliver a 30-45 minute formal presentation that covers your thesis. You can use overhead transparencies or a computer slide program, such as PowerPoint. In either case, you need to make arrangements through the School of Business for the necessary equipment.
