MCW benefits from a close working relationship with these institutions, as well as with other Milwaukee institutions including Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Marquette University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and MSOE.

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) was founded in 1903 on the basis of an educational philosophy that integrates two basic elements of learning; theory and practice. What began as a program of practical training, today encompasses 17 bachelor's degrees and 10 master's degree programs exemplifying an applications-oriented approach to education.

MSOE's 20 acre campus is located in a vibrant downtown neighborhood in Milwaukee, just a few short blocks from the hub of the cultural attractions, sporting venues and the lakefront. The university is well known for its close association with business and industry. Faculty have relevant, practical experience in their areas of expertise and focus research efforts on application of theory to problem solving and innovation. Class sizes are small and there are no teaching assistants.
