- A total of 54 quarter credit hours are needed, of which 42 are
required course work, 6 are elective credits and 6 credits of an
internship/research project.
- Transfer credits are possible for students who
have completed graduate level credits from other programs.
- Credits may also be waived based on work
experience or advanced undergraduate courses in the subject area.
- Quarters are 11 weeks in length, with one-week breaks in between
and a two-week break during the holiday season. (Academic Calendar)
- If you pursue the program on a full-time basis you are expected to
complete the requirements in five consecutive quarters of study. Part-time
students may take up to five years for completion.
Courses
are offered in a predefined sequence. Admittance to the program on a full-time
basis is only possible in the Fall Quarter. Admittance on a part-time basis can
occur during any quarter although a Fall Quarter start is still recommended.
