Transfer Students FAQs


Here are some common questions and answers that might be helpful.

• I have all of my pre requisites done, how long will it take me to finish at MSOE?

At MSOE, students start clinicals in the sophomore year. It will take you at least 3 years to finish the program due to the sequencing of the nursing courses. When you apply to MSOE, you will submit official transcripts which will be evaluated against MSOE courses. Not all courses transfer in.


• What are the prerequisites to starting clinical?

Students must be done with the MSOE science, math and general studies prerequisites prior to starting clinical.


• Can I transfer all of my classes?

Not all classes will transfer. You may check the online transfer manual here.
