How to Apply

Student Qualifications

  • Completed the sophomore year of an engineering, pre-engineering or a science-based curriculm.
  • Enrolled in a university for the fall term as a full-time student.
  • Earned a GPA of 3.00 or greater.
  • A U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
  • Have an interest in research and in learning about solid freeform fabrication and fluid power applications.
  • Women, minorities and persons with disabilities are especially encouraged to apply.
  • No experience in solid freeform fabrication or fluid power is required.

 

Required Application Materials

  1. One-page cover letter
  2. One-page resume
  3. One-page statement indicating your interest in solid freeform fabrication or fluid power, and undergraduate research, as well as why you should be selected as a participant.
  4. Three letters of reference (at least two from previous or current faculty)
  5. Your university transcript (include transcripts from each university you have attended)
  6. Application materials must be received by the specified due date.
  7. Only complete applications will be reviewed.
