Interested PEAK presenters must submit specific information about the relevant engineering topic they wish to present. If your topic is selected, you will be notified via email of the next steps in the process.
Information you must submit include:
- Brief presentation description and takeaways (what should a PEAK participant know/be able to do after the presentation?)
- Duration – 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours
- Type of engineering addressed in presentation (examples: Civil, Electrical, Architectural, Biomedical, Bio Molecular, Industrial, Mechanical, Software, Structural, Other)
- Brief biographical sketch (college degrees, work experience, PE licensure and other information that demonstrates knowledge of the topic)
Some presentations may lend themselves to long and detailed descriptions. Others are more straightforward. There are no rules for how detailed the description needs to be. The description should provide enough information to make a potential PEAK participant want to attend your session.
