Graduate Certificate in STEM Education

College or K-12 teachers with at least three years of STEM teaching experience who complete qualifying Project Lead The Way (PLTW) or MSOE Center for BioMolecular Modeling summer professional development programs are eligible to complete a graduate certificate in STEM education. 

In addition to completion of PLTW or CBM programs, students must complete:

  • MB 6100  Statistical Thinking and Data Analytics (4 credits)
  • MB 7210  Evaluating Educational Interventions (4 credits)
  • MB 7220  Advancing STEM Curriculum in Schools (4 credits)

Qualifying students may receive a grant to cover the tuition for MB 7210 and MB 7220.  Students must apply for and be accepted to the MBA in STEM Leadership program, and complete the course prerequisites prior to enrolling in MB 7210 and MB 7220 in order to receive the tuition waiver.
