Next Steps

Congratulations on your acceptance!
Your acceptance to MSOE is a hallmark of the success you have already achieved. MSOE students are a bright crew - with promising futures - and we would be delighted to have you join them.

Here are some suggested next steps in the admission process. Some you may have already done and others you may not be aware of. Our goal is to provide you with the best information possible to help you choose the right university. Contact the admission office with any questions you may have throughout the admission process: (800) 332-6763 or e-mail explore@msoe.edu

Visit Campus - Visiting campus is a great way to determine whether you and MSOE are the right fit.

Participate in a Shadow Day - Shadow days provide you with the opportunity to see MSOE from a current student's perspective.

Fill out the Student Aid Estimator (available October - January) - The Student Aid Estimator (SAE) is designed to assist you and your family as you navigate through the financial aid process. The SAE is a miniature version of the FAFSA form, the form through which financial aid is awarded. The SAE is not required but can be very useful for planning purposes. The SAE is only available October - January.

Apply for Financial Aid - Financial aid includes scholarships, grants, loans and work-study.

Submit a Tuition Deposit - When you have made the decision to attend MSOE, a $100 tuition deposit is required to save your place in your program.

Apply for Housing - If you live outside a 50-mile radius of MSOE's campus, you are required to live on campus your first two years of attendance.

Register for classes - Registration for the Fall Quarter begins in June. You will meet with a faculty advisor to choose classes. Information about fall registration is mailed out at the beginning of May.

You will then officially be an MSOE student!
