Matthew has a bachelor’s degree in Architectural (Structural) Engineering and Construction Management with a Business Management Minor from MSOE. Matthew also received his MBA from Marquette University and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
Matthew currently works at Kohl’s Corporation as the Manager of Construction overseeing the construction of Kohl’s retail and non-retail facilities. Matthew is also a part time instructor at MSOE and Concordia University. After hours, Matthew is actively involved in the Special Olympics of Wisconsin, Project Lead the Way, and participates in a number of extreme events and run/walks.
Matthew has a close connection with MSOE as he was actively involved in a number of organizations, competition teams (one which finished 2nd in the country and another that won the National competition), and in other aspects of campus. Matthew said, “I am honored to tell friends, family, and co-workers about my experience at MSOE. I know I received a well-rounded education and was able to develop a strong network of colleagues and friends. MSOE left such a mark that I couldn’t resist coming back to teach and sharing my knowledge with future professionals. Beyond academics, I have such great memories with faculty and staff. One individual that stands out in my mind is Rick Gagliano (Student Life Director).”
Responsibilities:
- Relationship managers between University and Chapter
- Provide a voice for all of the areas in the Chapter at a national level
- Assist in building strategic plan for the Chapter
- Provide a connection back to MSOE
- Be present at area events as much as possible
