After graduating from MSOE in 2000, I moved around the country with my career, experiencing various businesses, functions and locations. My professional experience is in product management, focused within both technology and traditional electrical markets. I relocated to Raleigh, N.C. in 2008 after finishing my MBA from Carnegie Mellon and married my wife, Mariah, in 2011.
In my free time, I enjoy meeting new people who are similarly at the intersection of business and technology. My weekends are filled with community involvement and various outdoor activities such as tennis, hiking, skiing and volleyball.
Share a memory or two from your days at MSOE:
Frigid walks from RWJ to the engineering and science buildings, phenomenal opportunities for project and teamwork within classes, a community within community as an RA/SRA, weekends filled with Student Union Board events.
Why you are choosing to be involved as an area chair?
MSOE is a magnificent school filled with people who genuinely care and I aspire to be an extension of that on-campus family. My plans include making Raleigh my home, so I’ll be able to assist alumni in local networking and also serve as an outreach for engineers about to begin their careers.
