Cindy is currently the Director-Lean Enterprise for BloodCenter of Wisconsin where she is responsible for strategy development, communication and the integration of process improvement methodologies including lean and six sigma throughout the organization. Prior to her launch in lean, Cindy spent twenty years in human resource management overseeing all facets of human resources with an emphasis in fostering employee engagement, developing leaders and staff and creating diverse workforces calling for practical application of change management skills. Her experiences working with leaders and staff at all levels of the organization have provided her with a natural springboard for organizational transformation of lean.
Cindy's professional experience includes fifteen years of management experience in healthcare at Medical College of Wisconsin in employment and compensation, Aurora Healthcare and Curative Care Network where she held various roles including manager, director and vice president. She has presented locally and nationally on human resource topics and lean strategy deployment.
Cindy has developed, conducted and lectured for human resource undergraduate and graduate levels at Marquette University and is currently an instructor at MSOE's Rader School of Business teaching quality management.
Cindy's volunteer activities include her current role as president of the UWM-EMBA Alumni Association, Junior Achievement, City of West Allis Compensation Committee and past president of the Greater Milwaukee Area Compensation Specialists.
Cindy received a B.A. in Communications and minors in business management and psychology from Central College in Pella, Iowa and an MBA from University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is trained as a GE Change Agent and Work-outTM Facilitator.
