Almost 400 alumni, families and friends attended activities during Summer in the City, the annual alumni reunion weekend. The event included a special reception was held for the classes of 1959 and 1984, celebrating 50 years and 25 years, respectively. The reunion weekend, July 10-12, was packed with activities, including a motorcycle ride to MSOE's
Murphy House in Belgium, Wis., a lakefront fiesta cruise, and tours of the
Kern Center and MSOE's
Man at Work art collection. Another memorable event was the cocktail reception at the rooftop sculpture garden at the
Grohmann Museum.
MSOE Regent John Duncan '79 was bestowed the MSOE Distinguished Alumnus of the Year award.
