Athletic Affiliations

MSOE is a member of the Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) which began its first season of competition in the fall of 2006. The NAC consists of 13 colleges and universities from the shared-border states of Illinois and Wisconsin. Many have shared traditional rivalries dating back to the NAC's predecessor conferences, the Lake Michigan Conference and the Northern Illinois-Iowa Conference. Member schools include: Alverno College, Aurora University, Benedictine University, Concordia University Chicago, Concordia University Wisconsin, Dominican University, Edgewood College, Lakeland College, Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Marian Universty, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Rockford College and Wisconsin Lutheran College.

The NAC sponsors 18 sports. Men's sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, tennis, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field. Women's squads are fielded in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field and volleyball.

Members of the NAC, an NCAA Division III member conference, are eligible for automatic NCAA postseason berths.

For hockey, MSOE is a charter member of the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Conference (MCHA). The eight members of the MCHA are Adrian College, Concordia University Wisconsin, Finlandia University, Lake Forest College, Lawrence University, Marian University, MSOE and Northland College. The MCHA was founded in 1998 and has an automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

The Raiders are also a member of the Continental Volleyball Conference (CVC) for men's volleyball, Northern Wrestling Association (NWA) for wrestling and Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) for men's lacrosse.
