Kyle Dlabay is entering his eighth season as a play-by-play voice for Milwaukee School of Engineering athletics. He currently is the primary hockey broadcaster for MSOE.
Dlabay is a 2006 Broadcast and Electronic Communication graduate of Marquette University. He learned his craft on the staff of Marquette Student Radio. He did play-by-play for men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball and men's and women's soccer teams. Dlabay was also the station's sports director from 2004-2006.
He formerly worked for Newsradio 620 WTMJ-AM and SportsRadio 1250 WSSP-AM as an anchor, reporter and producer. Dlabay is the Special Events Manager for the United Performing Arts Fund. The Wildwood, Ill. native currently resides in Milwaukee.
Dan Pfeifer became the play-by-play voice of Milwaukee School of Engineering basketball in January 2013.
Pfeifer is the rare play-by-play man who also possesses an engineering degree, as his broadcast career began when he chose to pursue his minor of Mass Communication rather than his major of Computer Science after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's College of Engineering and Applied Science in 2005. In addition to his MSOE duties, Pfeifer is also the PA voice of Marquette University's soccer and lacrosse teams, as well as the Racine Raiders minor-league football team.
During the day, Pfeifer is an Information & Data Services Specialist for the University Advancement department at Marquette University. A lifelong Wisconsin resident, Pfeifer currently lives in Greenfield.
Pfeifer encourages those watching or listening to interact with his Raider broadcasts via Twitter. Tweets can be directed to @MUPfeif or can simply be marked with an #MSOE hashtag.
