MSOE men's basketball rises to No. 7 in NCAA regional rankings

The Raiders are ranked 7th in the Midwest in the latest NCAA regional rankings. MSOE were ranked for the first time by the NCAA last week at No. 8. The Raiders are coming off a 86-72 victory against intracity foe Wisconsin Lutheran last Saturday.
MSOE is led by senior co-captains Austin Meier and Bennett Deacon. Meier is currently third in all of Division III in steals with 3.4 thefts per game and 11th in double-doubles with 12. The Raiders (15-6, 9-4 NAC) are currently a half game behind first place Benedctine in the NAC South Division. MSOE faces Rockford on the road Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
