Dieringer wins two titles at NAC Outdoor Championship


The Raiders women's track and field team scored 77.5 points at the Northern Athletics Conference Outdoor Championship in Lisle, Ill. to place fifth. Junior Emily Dieringer took the top spot in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.11 and also won the 100-meter hurdles at 15.90 seconds. Dieringer was second in the pole vault at 2.90 meters. First place finishers earn All-Conference honors while those who place second and third earn Honorable Mention honors.

Sophomore Katelyn Herrmann placed third in the 3000-meter steeplechase at 12:12.99 to best her own school record by over two seconds. Freshman Shana Cook was also second in the javelin throw at 32.19 meters.

Sophomore Karly Nehls came in second in the high jump with a mark of 1.46 meters. Junior Carol Cayo finished fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:13.57.
