Four MSOE women's cross country runners receive conference recognition
The MSOE women's cross country team, which recently placed third at the Northern Athletic Conference championships, received two, First Team All-Conference selections and two Honorable Mention awards.
NAC First Team selections with year, eight kilometer time, and place:
Heather DeLany, senior (West Bend, Wis. /West), 24:47.27, fifth place
Leah Leja, senior (Pulaski, Wis. /Pulaski), 24:55.0, tenth
NAC Honorable Mention with year, eight kilometer time, and place:
Libby Nowak, senior (Pulaski, Wis. /Pulaski), 26:13.2, 22nd
Emily Schmeling, freshman (Milwaukee, Wis. /School of the Arts), 26:27.9, 25th
The women continue on to the NCAA Division III regionals Saturday, November 10, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Race time is set for 11am.
