MSOE wrestling sweeps UW-Oshkosh Duals as Pope surpasses 100 wins

The Raiders went 3-0 at the UW-Oshkosh Duals Saturday after defeating Wheaton, UW-Eau Claire and UW-Oshkosh. MSOE was the only school that did not lose a single dual in the event. UW-Oshkosh is currently ranked 18th in the country. This is the first time that the Raiders have defeated a nationally ranked team.

In the 42-7 victory against Wheaton, junior Jake Narveson, Pope, senior Samuel Bramstedt, sophomore Steve Nguyen were among the Raiders picking up wins. MSOE beat UW-Eau Claire 24-18 with seniors Sam Deligio and Dominick Deligio, freshman Dallas Schurg, Narveson, Pope and Bramstedt being victorious.

The final dual of the day was against UW-Oshkosh as MSOE won 24-18. Dominick Deligio, Schurg, Narveson, Pope, Bramstedt and sophomore Caleb Staub logged wins. The Raiders are now 4-0 this season in duals. Staub's victory against the Titans sealed the dual triumph for MSOE.
