Buckley Named as MSOE's First Lacrosse Coach

Director of Athletics Dan Harris announced the hiring of Robin Buckley as MSOE's first
men's lacrosse coach. THE MSOE lacrosse program will participate at the club level
through the 2008-2009 school year and will obtain varsity status at a date yet to be
announced.

Buckley, a 1989 graduate of Lake Forest College, brings over 19 years of coaching
experience to the MSOE Raider program. He first started playing the sport of lacrosse in
1982 in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, playing three years of varsity lacrosse in high
school. Buckley continued playing lacrosse in college at Lake Forest College, where he
was a four-year starter.

Buckley has been involved in the growth of lacrosse in the Milwaukee area since 1997,
when he was one of the founding members of the Milwaukee Lacrosse Club, Milwaukee
Area Youth Lacrosse Association (MAYLA) and the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation-
Wisconsin Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse.

Buckley serves as the president of the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation, Executive
Director of MAYLA and the Midwest Regions Counsel to US Lacrosse. He is also the
coach of the University School of Milwaukee lacrosse team.

Lacrosse will become the 22nd sport at MSOE, and the second program to obtain varsity
status within the last five years.
