Men's Golf leads NAC Championships on first day

Consistency was the key for the MSOE men's golf team on the first day of competition of the Northern Athletics Conference Men's Golf Championships, held at Whistling Straits Golf Course, in Kohler Wisconsin. The Raiders had all four golfers in the top six spots as they took a seven stroke lead into the second day of competition.
MSOE golfers Peter Eich and Jon Syvertson came into the clubhouse tied for second overall, shooting a 75, while teammate Dane Zachman (T-4th) was one off the pace with a 76 on the day. Sam Meyer's score of 78 tied him for sixth overall and rounded out scoring for the MSOE squad. The Raiders tallied an 18- hole, day one total score of 304, ahead of second place Benedictine (311), Aurora (320) and Edgewood (324).
