MSOE defeats Rockford in Overtime 79-72

Milwaukee, Wis.--An 11-4 run in overtime helped MSOE to a 78-72 victory over the Rockford Regents at the MSOE Kern Center Saturday night.
The Raiders were led by Jeremy Off scoring 17 points and collecting 10 rebounds, his second double-double on the season. Willie Howard led Rockford with 18 points.
It was an exciting homecoming game for the Raider fans, but not a lot of fun for the men's basketball team as they saw a 17-point lead slip away in the second. With 4:45 remaining, Rockford went on a 25-8 run with the Regent's Howard hitting a three pointer at the buzzer sending the game into overtime.
The Raiders controlled overtime with Andy Voigt, Austin Meier and Deacon Bennett combining for 13 of MSOE's 16 overtime points.
The Raiders next game is December 10 as they travel to Aurora for an important NAC South Division contest. Tipoff is set for 7pm.
