Seniuk Heads to Indoor Track Nationals
MSOE senior Brian Seniuk qualified for the NCAA National Indoor Track and field Championships, to be held Friday -Saturday, March 13-14 at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre-Haute, Indiana.


Seniuk is the first male athlete to qualify for the NCAA indoor track nationals and the third MSOE student this year to qualify for an NCAA national championship. Senior Dominic Maio qualified for the NCAA cross-country championships in the fall of 2008, while Virgil Pope just returned from the NCAA Division III Wrestling National Championships last weekend in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Seniuk had a 400-meter dash qualify time of 49.37 at the Iowa State Cyclone Classic on February 14 in Ames, Iowa. He will be running in the third heat of the event Friday at 5:15pm.
