Men's Golf 24th at NCAA Championships

After two rounds at the beautiful PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Florida the MSOE men's golf team finished one stroke shy of making the 23-team final of the NCAA Division III men's golf championships. The Raiders were the first Northern Athletics Conference team to qualify for the event and the first MSOE men's golf team to participate at the championship.
Individually for the Raiders, Peter Eich (Libertyville, Ill./Libertyville H.S.) finished the first two rounds with a +7, While Matt Brandenburg (Cedarburg, Wis./Cedarburg) was a +8 for his two day total. They were followed by teammates Dane Zachman (Wauwatosa, Wis./Wauwatosa West) (+15), Erick Macias-Simon (Mexico City, Mexico/IETSM) (+19) and Sam Meyers (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) (+22). Eich tied for the last spot of the individual finals, but was defeated in a playoff.
