NAC Women's Soccer honors announced

The MSOE Raiders women's soccer program collected seven post season honors as the Northern Athletic Conference were announced today. Mindy Donald (Fredonia, Wis./Ozaukee), a junior midfielder was a first team selection.
Starting in all 21 games played, Donald had five goals and six assists and one game winning goal on the season. This is Donald's second NAC first team honor, having been chosen for the team in 2008.
Receiving NAC second team all conference accolades, the Raider's Jamie Janczak (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) and Karina Weideman (Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West) were honored. In 21 games, Janczak, had eight goals and six assists, while Weideman started in 17 of 20 games, playing a key role in the defense for MSOE.
Honorable Mention went to goalkeeper Emma Lumpe (Lawrence, Kan./Lawrence), who was also an All-Freshman team selection. Lumpe had 1.26 goals against average, including four shutouts for the season.
Allison Plank (Appleton, Wis./Appleton) received an honorable mention selection. The junior defender started in all 21 games played and was an Honorable Mention selection in 2008.
Joining Lumpe on the All Freshman team was teammate Victoria Falcon (North Bend, Wash./Mount Si). Falcon, a defender, scored one goal and had two assists in while starting in all 20 of her games played.
Heidi Brehmer (Eagle River, Alaska/Chugiak) was an All Sportsmanship Team selection. In 2008, the junior midfielder was a second team selection.
The MSOE women's soccer team finished the season second place in the Northern Athletics Conference with a 7-3-1 record and was 10-8-3 overall.
