MSOE competes at the Midwest Regionals

The MSOE Raiders men's and women's cross country teams completed their season by competing at the Midwest Regionals, held November 14, 2009 at the Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wisconsin. The men's team placed 26th , while the women placed 37th overall.
For the men's team, they were paced by Zach Lutz, placing 70th with a time of 26:04. He was followed by Jay Stasiak (place, time) (163, 27:43), Matt Jungers (164,27:44), Mike Olk (172, 27:55) Keenan Unangst (180, 28:11).
For the women, Amanda Heller was the highest place getter with a time of 24:44, 132nd overall. She was followed by Erin Haefs (place, time)(207, 26:57) 217 Emily Schmeling (217,27:27), Laura Rosenberg (241,29:08) and Linnea Elliott (252,31:11).
At the regional, the top two teams and seven individuals advance to the NCAA Division III championships, held on Saturday, November 21, hosted by Baldwin-Wallace College.
