Four Men's Soccer Players receive All-State honors
 

The MSOE Raiders men's soccer team received positive recognition by Wisconsin College Coaches as the team had four members named to the All-Wisconsin NCAA III Men's Soccer Teams. The teams are voted on by Wisconsin Coaches who are members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).

The Northern Athletics Conference Defensive Player of the Year, Joe Westrich (Racine, Wis./St. Catherine's) leads all MSOE players on the list. Westrich, a 6-2 defender and co-captain, scored six goals and had one assist in 21 games played. Westrich was the Raiders only first team selection.

Michael Vanek (Greenfield, Wis./South Milwaukee) and Rock Ridolfi (Kenosha, Wis./Tremper) were second team honorees. Vanek, a first team All NAC selection,  led the team in goals scored with seven, two of which were game winners. He also added three assists for the season. Ridolfi, a senior defenseman, returned from an injury suffered in 2008 to garner the All Wisconsin second team honor. He was a NAC second team and All-Sportsmanship selection as well.

Brandon Crozier (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) made the All Wisconsin Honorable Mention team. Crozier, a 5-11 senior midfielder and captain, had four goals and five assists in 21 games played for the Raiders He also had three game winning goals for the season

 The MSOE men's soccer team finished the season second place in the Northern Athletics Conference with a 9-1-1 record and was 13-6-2 overall. The regionally ranked Raiders saw an amazing season come to a close in the NAC title game with a 1-0 defeat to NCAA Division III semifinalist Dominican University (Ill.).
