Raiders wrestle to national recognition

Raiders wrestle to national recognition
 MSOE wrestlers Matt Olsen (Algonquin, Wis./Jacobs HS) and Virgil Pope (Janesville, Wis./Clinton HS) both have received honorable mention status in the latest d3wrestling.com national rankings. Olsen, wrestling in the 184 lb. weight class, placed third in last week's AL Hanke Invitational at Elmhurst College. Pope, an NCAA championship qualifier in 2009, looks move up the naational rankings in the 149 lb. division.


The Raiders return to the mat on Jan. 29-30 at the Wheaton Invitational. This year, MSOE will host the Northern Wrestling Association Conference tournament on Saturday, Feb. 13 in the Kern Center Arena. The event will start at 9am.
