Men's Basketball wins key NAC matchup

River Forest, Ill.-- Behind big games from senior center Jeremy Off and junior forward Austin Meier, the MSOE Men's Basketball team knocked off Concordia University Chicago 76-66. Off scored 19 points and pulled down 12 rebounds and Meier put in 22 points for the Raiders. The victory clinches a spot in the Northern Athletics Conference tournament for MSOE.

MSOE held the Cougars to 37% shooting from the field while the Raiders shot almost 47% for the game. Concordia was just 5-26 from three-point range. MSOE out rebounded the Cougars 39-36. The closet Concordia would get in the second half was three points.

The victory pushes MSOE into a tie with the Cougars in the Northern Athletics Conference South Division. Both the Raiders and Concordia are both 9-6 in NAC play. MSOE has a 14-9 overall record. The Raiders finish their regular season Tuesday night at the Kern Center against Dominican University. That game will tip off at 7:00 p.m.
