Men's Volleyball knocks off 12th ranked Carthage

Milwaukee -- Three close games all went the Raiders way Wednesday night at the Kern Center as the MSOE Men's Volleyball team knocked off 12th ranked Carthage in a Midwest-III Volleyball Conference match. The scores of the games were 30-24, 30-27 and 30-26. Both the Raiders and Redmen are now 3-1 in conference play.
Leading the way for MSOE was junior Chris Reininger who hit an amazing .688 with 12 kills. Also, sophomore Max Martin had 16 kills for the Raiders while senior Glenn Frazee had 10. Senior Chris Brandt ended up with 41 assists while senior Jon Holzbauer had 12 digs. MSOE hit .316 as a team on the night.
The Raiders (13-13) will face conference foes Fontbonne and Mount St. Joseph at the Kern Center on Saturday.
