Werner named NAC Student-Athlete of the Week

After breaking two school records over the weekend, freshman Jordan Werner was named NAC Student-Athlete of the Week for his performance at the Wisconsin Private School Championships. Werner ran times of 10.81 and 21.64 in the 100 and 200 meter dash races to set new MSOE records in both events. His time in the 200 meter event was better than the NCAA qualifying time, however it was wind-aided.
Werner and the rest of the MSOE Track team will compete in the NAC Championships this Saturday which are hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran in Milwaukee.
