MSOE women's soccer dominates Rockford

The Raiders scored early and often against Rockford Saturday afternoon at Time Warner Cable Stadium in Milwaukee. MSOE knocked off the Regents 11-0 in the NAC opener for both teams.

Freshman Allison Zimont got the scoring going with her second goal of the season at the 6:57 mark of the first half. The Raiders (2-2, 1-0 NAC) would go on to score seven more goals in that half including two each from junior Mary Roath and sophomore Katelyn Hermann. Roath finished off her first career hat trick late in the second half. Freshman Paula Bohl added to her team lead in goals with two second half goals and now has five on the season.

Junior Jessica Axt scored her third goal of the year while junior Jamie Janczak added her second of the season, both in the first half. Freshman Lindsey Adamczyk logged her first career goal as well. 

Zimont also had two assists as did senior Colleen Krechel. Junior Melanie Monreal, Jancazk and Hermann each logged one assist. Sophomore goalkeeper Emma Lumpe had a clean sheet to pick up the shutout.

MSOE will faces Augustana Sunday at 3 p.m. in Rock Island, Ill.
