Bohl and Axt score again as MSOE women's soccer edges Marian

Freshman forward Paula Bohl and junior forward Jessica Axt both scored for the Raiders as they knocked off Marian 2-1 Wednesday night in Fond du Lac, Wis. to stay undefeated in the NAC. Bohl scored an unassisted goal at the 24:50 mark of the first half. Bohl now has 18 goals which leads the nation and has 40 points which is also tops among all NCAA Division III players.
Axt scored her eighth goal of the season and the game-winning goal at the 56:43 mark of the game. Junior Jamie Janczak now has eight assists after setting up Axt's second half goal. As a team, MSOE had 25 shots including ten from Axt. Sophomore goalkeeper Emma Lumpe made five saves for the Raiders.
MSOE (8-3, 6-0 NAC) faces Aurora on the road Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.
