Men's golf finishes third at MSOE Invitational

The Raiders men's golf team placed third at the MSOE Invitational which took place at Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, Wis. Sunday and Monday. MSOE moved up from fourth to third during the final day of the event.
Senior Peter Eich and freshman Scott Loftus tied for seventh with a two-day score of 151. Eich shot an even par 72 during the second round of the invite. Junior Dane Zachman tied for 15th with a score of 156. Freshman Drew Liner finished tied for 24th (160) and senior Ben Turk tied for 28th (161).
Wisconsin Eau-Claire won the event with a team score of 599 while Carthage was one stroke behind in second. Aurora's Cameron Parker, UW-Eau Claire's Loren Churness and Carthage's Andy Wojciechowicz tied for first at the event with a two-over score of 145.
The Raiders compete in the NAC Championship starting this Sunday at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wis.
